I know it has been a while since Rev A has been released for the Sprint Mogul but I did not have time to sit down and write about it. Now when I upgraded I did a test in New Jersey and got 980 kbit/sec but here are the results now.
The results are at 3 - 4 bars in the same area that the previous test on this site was done.
I tested each of the sites herein pocket IE, Minimo, Opera Mini and Opera and gave the best and the average result here:
400K BEST = 775 kbit/sec (0.261s latency) / Average = 620 kbit/sec
1 MB BEST = 1634 kbit/sec (0.275s latency) / Average = 963 kbit/sec
This is not bad for a phone.
Revision A is a nice speed increase

I switched to SPRINT and as part of it I got a very nice pocket PC phone. The
Sprint Mogul it is a Pocket PC phone with Windows Mobile 6 running.
Here are some things that I do not like about the phone:
- Phone a little to heavy but the keyboard is worth it.
- Software currently does not contain EVDO A, Sprint promises a new ROM with it shortly and there is a ROM floating on the Internet that makes it work now.
- No Built in GPS, once again ROM is coming from Sprint and the same ROM on the Internet does the job as well.
- No Sprint TV software, which should be coming as well.
- No GPS Software from Sprint, although Google and external GPS Software works.
- Memory for running programs is just not enough.
Here are the things I love:

So I have changed to SPRINT as the Cell Phone Carrier and some things are bad and some things are good. First the interesting part is that SPRINT can not get a number port correct. It is now eight (8) days that I have switched to Sprint and the funny thing is that it will be another five to seven days before they get the number port correct. It is a bit of a pain but on the other hand I am able to manage utilizing simulated ringer on my business phone.
Now enough with the gripes, and here is the good thing. The Sprint network is fast, I was using Helio phone before and they were using Google for the translation to the mobile screen and it was fast, faster then AT&T that I used to have before. Now that I am using a Sprint Pocket PC phone (Mogul) and I am going direct on the web pages, and all I have to say is WOW!!!! Here are some of the results from DSL Reports using my Mobile Phone:

Well it looks like every USA phone carrier is getting in to the mix and announcing unlimited $99 dollar plans. Unfortunately some of them are not what is truly unlimited. Here is what I have found through my research.
I am going to review First Teer Wireless providers and since I live in the east coast I have three to choose from AT&T, Verizon, Sprint. T-Mobile is somewhere there, but I would not subject T-Mobile on my enemies due to horrible coverage.

Why am I blogging about a cell phone plan? Well because I am happy with what I received. So
who is Helio? Never heard of them?
Helio is a joint venture between Earthlink (heard of them?) and SK Telecom. SK Telecom as per Hoovers is a mobile communication giant in Asia. In South Korea they are the number one communication provider owning 50% of the market share. They also have a presence in China, Southeast Asia, Southwest Asia.
