Thinging Rock the GTD Software
March 31, 2008 9:34 pm Software, Software, Software, GTD ToolsWell I have to talk about a program that I have been looking at and I have to say that it is probably the best Getting Things Done software around. For people that mostly work in the office, it is a great system that can probably answer all the tasks possible.
The software is a java applet that can run on a Macintosh, Windows and Linux platform just fine. To transfer the information all you need to do is take the file that contains the information on to a key or a floppy and transfer it among computers. It can even be sent through E-mail.
This software can be downloaded from Thinking Rock, and I recommend it for all those people that go to work and come home. There is a plug-in that exports it to the pocket PC as well.
I have used it for some time, but unfortunately in the current job I live out of my Microsoft Mobile Phone as I rarely get to sit a desktop accept late at night as I do now. So this software and the Mobile addition was not exactly what I am looking for which is why I am trying to create a system using Pocket Informant.
But as I stated before, if you work at an office and would like an ultimate system to implement getting things done then this is for you.
