Unlimited $99.99 Plans

8:36 pm General

Well it looks like every USA phone carrier is getting in to the mix and announcing unlimited $99 dollar plans. Unfortunately some of them are not what is truly unlimited. Here is what I have found through my research.

I am going to review First Teer Wireless providers and since I live in the east coast I have three to choose from AT&T, Verizon, Sprint. T-Mobile is somewhere there, but I would not subject T-Mobile on my enemies due to horrible coverage.

First Teer (Primary)

AT&T

AT&T Unlimited $99 a month plan

Unlimited Voice Included   Unlimited Mobile Internet Extra $$$
Nationwide Long Distance (USA Only) Included   Unlimited E-Mail Extra $$$
Unlimited Roaming (USA Only) Included   Unlimited TV/Video Extra $$$
Unlimited SMS Messages Extra $$$   Unlimited GPS Navigation Extra $$$
Unlimited Media Messages Extra $$$

AT&T Has two other plans, one with unlimited messages for $119.99 and one with unlimited data for $134.99, accept if you have a phone that can actually surf the internet then it is $149.99 (PDA and blackberry phones)

Verizon

Verizon Unlimited $99 a month plan
It is a bit better then AT&T’s

Unlimited Voice Included   Unlimited Mobile Internet Included (No PDA)
Nationwide Long Distance (USA Only) Included   Unlimited E-Mail Extra $$$
Unlimited Roaming (USA Only) Included   Unlimited TV/Video Extra $$$
Unlimited SMS Messages Extra $$$   Unlimited GPS Navigation Extra $$$
Unlimited Media Messages Extra $$$

So here is the deal, if you want unlimited SMS or Media messages it is $119.99 and if you want unlimited data, TV, GPS, etc it is $139.99

Sprint/Nextel

Sprint Unlimited $99 a month plan
This is a real unlimited Plan

Unlimited Voice Included   Unlimited Mobile Internet Included
Nationwide Long Distance (USA Only) Included   Unlimited E-Mail Included
Unlimited Roaming (USA Only) Included   Unlimited TV/Video Included
Unlimited SMS Messages Included   Unlimited GPS Navigation Included
Unlimited Media Messages Included   Unlimited Premium TV
Included
      Unlimited Direct Connect Included

So this is a descent plan, taking one from the 2nd Tier providers who use Sprint’s network, Sprint decided that it was going to go in to a fight with the $99 plans with guns blazing. This was the winner for me so I switched from a 2nd Tier Carrier (Helio) to them. Now with a full PDA (more in a different post).
