What is Getting Things Done?

Getting Things Done or otherwise abbreviated as GTD is an action management system created by David Allen. The information about the system is found in a book that can be found at any bookstore and on-line. It is under $10 dollars directly from he Getting Things Done Site.

GTD is set-up on the principles that a person’s mind is a natural planner, but to let our mind rest and explore other avenues we need to free it up from the daily chore of managing tasks by moving the tasks to a location that is considered a “Trusted System”. This way the mind is freed from the job of remembering everything that needs to be done and concentrating on actually performing those tasks.
I can go on forever in telling you waht the system does but I do not have the time. All I can say is that having tried multiple systems the GTD method has worked for me and I am a heavy user of the system.
